JVC J4 Humanoid - A 20 cm tall humanoid robot of similar size and shape to Sony's QRIO robot. This robot is remote-c ontrolled via Bluetooth. It is being promoted as a central controller for remote devices, e.g., home entertainment s ystems.

This agile robot is battery-powered and has quite the bang for the buck. Not surprisingly, it won a prize at Robocup 2003.
